<p>They say it seems like they are really not real. This feeling of unreality is common for anyone who is experiencing anxiety. However, it doesn&#8217;t mean they&#8217;re going out of their minds at all.</p>
<p>Actually, panic attacks are more of a physical event than a mental one. Panic causes adrenaline to flow wildly throughout the bloodstream. You could actually make the point that adrenaline flowing widely throughout the bloodstream causes the panic attack. Either way, it is the adrenaline the causes this feeling of not really being with it. Part of this sensation is the fact adrenaline causes the pupils of the eyes to dilate and this makes things look strange.</p>
<p>First of all, adrenaline fills the bloodstream because of a person&#8217;s tendency toward fight or flight in response to fear. In other words, when we are struggling to overcome a situation, our bodies will start to secrete adrenaline. The purpose for adrenaline is to strengthen our bodies and make us have the ability to run faster. It is because of adrenaline people can do abnormal things in times of crisis.</p>
<p>The reason adrenaline pumps so hard and of panic stricken person&#8217;s body is that adrenaline flow is a normal reaction to fear. Everyone experiences fear although sometimes being afraid is not warranted. When this happens some people respond to it by fearing the strange sensations the original fear causes. When this happens more adrenaline starts to flow and when this happens the person experiences even more sensations becomes even more afraid. This will cause adrenaline pump even harder.</p>
<p>You can see how it wouldn&#8217;t be very long before a small amount of fear could turn into a complete panic attack. So, when you break it down into its basic elements, panic attack is fear intensified by fear of fear intensified by more fear of this additional fear.</p>
<p>It is not actually the fear one fears. It is the sensation fears brings on a panic sufferer fears. Still, it all boils down to the same thing. Namely, that original fear, if left alone to do whatever it will is ignored; a panic attack will never result. It is only when this original fear becomes compounded by the fearing of it or the strange sensations it causes, that panic grows.</p>
<p>Preventing panic attacks and making sure they never come about again is easier said than done. However, the first logical step is understanding what they are. Now that you realize that panic attacks result from an action that you take, namely reacting to fear sensations, you have a starting point toward curing them. This is not to say you will never need any help somewhere down the road, we are just saying having understanding is a first step.</p>
<p>The bottom line is having an unreal feeling is not unheard of. This sort of thing happens to people every day. Just living with it and letting it happen and letting all other sorts of weird feelings run their course is the key to unmasking panic and curing yourself from panic attacks.</p>

<p>Panic attacks always seem to happen just when most don&#8217;t want them to. Of course, there really is in the time anybody would want to have a panic attack. Why? Because a panic attack seems to become the center of whatever you&#8217;re doing. It steals all your energy so you can&#8217;t really function normally and all your able to really do is just get yourself through to the other and of whatever panic has to in store for you.</p>
<p>Even though it is normal to not want to have a panic attack and a really always does occur just when you would like it least to occur, there is more to these things then made me the eye at first. The reason for this is any sort of apprehension is usually enough to get the nerves riled. This riling of the nerves is a great preparation for a panic attack to come in and cause its destruction.</p>
<p>What this means is, if you were planning on doing something and you were afraid of doing this particular thing because a panic attack might occur, you may actually be helping the panic attack to come on just by thinking this way. The very fact that you are shying away from panic means you are running away. Running away is one of the conditions that bring about a shot of adrenaline through the bloodstream.</p>
<p>Conversely, as ridiculous as it sounds, if you got yourself into the weird state of mind they you actually wanted a panic attack to happen, it would never happen. The reason it would never happen is because if we actually wanted panic to occur, we would have no apprehension about it and we would not be running away from it. Furthermore, we would not be trying to fight to keep the panic away from us.</p>
<p>Because we would not be running away are fighting we would not be laying the groundwork for a panic attack. So, by following this reasoning you can see just why panic attacks happen at the worst possible time. To further state the point the more we become apprehensive of panic attacks the more likely they are to occur. Conversely, the more indifferent we become to them the more likely they are to occur.</p>

<p>Of course, it is unrealistic to think in terms of panic attack and enjoyment being the same thing. Therefore, probably no one is going to lose all his or her apprehension about having a panic attack. However, a good first step toward conquering panic and keeping it out of your life is to understand apprehension sows the seeds of panic. Therefore, it is very helpful if we can learn to let panic come and go as it pleases without worrying whether or not it will happen.</p>

Note: This issue could be contributed to by an unhealthy diet and/ or drug abuse.</p>

People who find themselves in this category frequently don&#8217;t notice their levels of stress are extremely high until they get hit with a spontaneous anxiety attack.
